This page says what we collect when you visit unrealworkbooks.com, send us a form, or click a link in one of our emails, and what we do with it. We are a small business. We never sell your details.
What you send us
When you fill in a form, we get what you type: your name, your email, your book's title and your answers. If you send a manuscript, we get the file. We use it only to answer you and to do the work you asked about.
- The form comes to us as an email, sent through a service called Resend.
- A file you upload is stored with Cloudflare and deleted after 30 days.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a real person sent the form, not a bot.
What we count on the site
We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used: which pages people visit, which buttons they press, how they found us, their device, and their rough location (country and city, never an address). Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. We don't send Google your name or email.
If you use the calculator, we see the numbers you put in, so we can learn what authors' book tables look like. We don't see who typed them.
Links in our emails
If we email you, a link in that email may carry a short code. It tells us that you clicked it and what you looked at on the site afterwards. The code is not your name or email, and only we can match it to you.
Your choices
- You can turn off Google Analytics in your browser with Google's opt-out add-on, or by blocking cookies.
- To see what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email [email protected].
- If you'd rather not get our emails, reply "no thanks" and we'll stop.
